Manchester City v Birmingham City

Taken a while to get these photos up. Sadly this was my last game as the illustration has been dropped by The Times due to the number crunchers deciding that the sport section were over budget. This is a massive disappointment as the commission was going really well, hopefully there'll be some scope for it to be re-introduced in the future, Wimbledon?

City of Manchester Stadium is pretty big, almost a replica of The Emirates but next to a main road in Manchester as opposed to nestled in between houses in Islington. The atmosphere wasn't that great, which seems to be the case with these huge new stadiums, the problem seems to be that the crowd are quite far from the pitch and really dispersed with corporate seating. Any-how, the Birmingham fans were making a bit of noise as usual (third time i've seen Birmingham this season). The match was a shocker.
